The Irrawaddy dolphin has also the scientific name of Orcaella Brevirostris. This dolphin specie feeds mainly on fishes. Despite the specific areas where its natural habitat is located, this marine mammal does not belong on the endangered dolphins list.

Its length varies between 2 to 2.5 meters long. Its weight can reach from 90 up to 150 kg.
